Our Chief Engineer, Andrew, and his team made this model of a canal.

As part of our canal project Mrs Swinney came into school to talk to us about bats. We learned about different types of bats, their habitats and what they like to eat. She brought a bat into show us. The children were very excited and wanted to go straight onto the www.bats.org.uk web site to find out more. We learned even more facts and were able to hear recordings of the sounds that each bat makes.
