Christ The Redeemer

Angus was invited by Jolie's mum to visit the 6th of the New 7 Wonders of the World. They went from 14th to 21st March 2010. It is a HUGE statue on top of a mountain over-looking the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. It was an amazing feat of engineering just to build it in such a place but Brazil is a mostly Catholic country so it is way more than just a tourist attraction to the people who live there.

What a shame but the Statue was covered by scaffolding as part of a large restoration project.

Here is what it looks like without the scaffolding. This is like one of those before and after make-up shows you get on telly !

The next picture is of him with Sugar Loaf Mountain in the background. I wonder why they call it that?.......

When he was in Rio de Janeiro, Angus got a special number plate made up for him. I don't know how old you have to be able to drive in Brazil, but I think Angus is a little young yet. Not to mention his feet don't reach the pedals. Anyhoo.. I'm sure Angus will take lessons when he is old enough and he will have the number plate.
