She also invented a Roman name for her estate agency. Well done Kirsty. 21st February 2009 Today I found out we have more visitors to the web site from America. Welcome to those people from Mountain View California, Richmond Canada, Burlington Massachusetts and Austin Texas. Did you know that Austin is the capital city of Texas? It was a lovely celebration of our national bard. The table was set up very professionally. You can see how braw it was in the picture below. There is also a picture of me with the haggis. Robert Burns wrote a poem all about the haggis and we recited that poem before we dished it up to the class. I think that was what Angus meant to say! 25th January 2009 Robert Burns was born 250 years ago today. We learned about him last year when we did a topic on Scottish Language. Angus went to a Burns Supper at P7 last Friday. I hope to have pictures and details of that soon. 23rd January 2009 Angus arrived back from Petra today. Everyone was very excited to see him. He went home for the weekend with Andrew for some rest and relaxation. 15th of December 2008 Primary 3 and 4 held an excellent Cake and Carol Concert for our parents. Primary 4B sang Reindeer on the Roof. P4A performed a play called Mak’s Baby, sang a French carol and their song Jingle Bell Rock had everyone’s feet tapping. The other P4 and P3 classes sang beautifully too. 28th November 2008 Angus went to the P6 ceilidh with 6A, 6B and 6's from Miss Swinney's class. He had so much fun listening to the performers. They were doing songs, poems and playing musical instruments. |
