Ethiopia

Angus’s cousin Hamish is just back from a great trip to Ethiopia where he visited the Elshadai Orphanage in Mekelle.

Chloe’s gran sponsors the two children in the first picture and kindly offered to take Hamish with her (Angus had prior engagements).

He tried his hand at knitting but wasn’t very good, so he decided to watch instead.

The two ladies are wearing the national dress, isn’t it stunning. Love the hairstyle Frewyne!

Here are some more photos from Elshadai orphanage. The director of the orphanage is called Alem, seen here holding Hamish. Mrs Wood said Hamish behaved himself and all the children wanted to have have photo’s taken with him. Thank you very much for taking him, Mrs Wood, we have enjoyed learning about Elshadai and seeing the pictures.
