Heroes in Afghanistan

Our soldiers are Heroes. They help to protect us and they fight against terrorists so we can live free and without worries. They miss being at home at Christmas so Angus went out to Afghanistan to entertain the troops in 2010 and see how they were getting on. Here are some pictures from his trip and thanks to the 2nd Battallion Scots/RHF for letting him join in.

Here, Private Angus is working hard learning to drive a jeep and an armoured truck He is also using camouflage to hide whilst having a look around using his binnoculars.

They like to have some rest when they are not on duty. Here Angus rests with some headphones, catches some rest in his bed and is excited to get a food parcel from home with some of his favourite sweets.

The heroes also make some good friends when they are away. Angus made friends with this gorgeous little kitten. There are also pictures of his friends from the army and with him dressed up in reindeer nose and antlers. What a laugh!
