Romans Project - Parents Open Day

We had a very successful open day today. The parents enjoyed seeing all the hard work the children have been doing and the children enjoyed showing everything to them.

The parents had to do a worksheet on roman numerals and the children marked their efforts! They all did very well!

The children organised the event themselves. They looked at the skills they had and applied for a job in the Admin, Catering, Guides or Archive Department. They worked very well together to make invitations to send to the parents. They made posters and signs to put around the school. They greeted the parents at the door and made sure they got to the classroom safely.

The Catering Department baked Ancient Roman Apple Cake and made sure the Guides served it to our visitors along with juice and olives.
