Pen Pals

27th May 2010 We received our latest letters from our Canadian pen-pals today. Alister's friend sent him some Canadian coins and Jolie received a lovely bracelet. Mr Fitch sent us all a Canadian badge. We always enjoy receiving our letters and hearing all the news from Nova Scotia. We were sorry to hear about the death of their class pet though.

24th February 2010 We received more letters from our Canadian Pen Pals today. Mr Fitch said nice things about Sludge and Angus, and about the masks we made for Chinese New Year. He is going to send us a powerpoint presentation about his class. We all look forward to seeing that.

7th February 2010 We had Miss Macklin in to visit us today. She is from Canada, where our pen-pals come from, she was able to tell us all about school life over there. We also learned a lot about the country itself and Ontario where she comes from. Did you know that you can fit 5 Scotlands into her province alone.

She told us about the animals in Canada and we looked up pictures of them on the internet.

Our Canadian Pen Pals wrote to us today. I never saw such a quiet class in all my life. All my classmates were so engrossed in their letters, I could have danced a highland fling in the classroom and nobody would have noticed.
