Innes, Ben and Louise love looking for new information. ![]() Mosaics were very common in rich roman houses so we have been making some of our own. ![]() Roman children used to wear a bulla around their neck to ward off evil and keep them safe. Sewing is a bit tricky but we are getting there! ![]() ![]() ![]() The class really enjoy learning all about the Romans. ![]() ![]() We made Roman advertisements just like estate agents would do nowadays. ![]() Lots of Roman coins were found in Scotland. Katie, Sophie M and Keryn have been teaching us about the Celts. Sophie O and Sophie H made their presentation on Roman life, while the boys prefered to learn about Roman soldiers. ![]() ![]() ![]() We have been making Jewelary to wear with our roman costumes on Thursday when the parents come in. ![]() Sophie made this chariot. ![]() There are lots of Roman towns with the endings caster or chester, we have been using the atlas to make a list of them. ![]() EnterpriseThe catering dept have been very busy today baking Ancient Roman Apple cake for the parents to taste tomorrow at our open day. Lots of hungry people followed the delicious smell to our classroom hoping for a bit.
