The Year Of The Dragon

On 23rd January, we celebrated the start of the Chinese year of the Dragon. The Chinese have twelve different animals which they use to remember the years. Just like we have twelve signs of the Zodiac and we use them to tell our horoscopes. The chinese can tell your personality from the year that you were born (as well as other things like your material sign, the position of the moon and the hour you were born. It is very complicated.

Angus and his classmates had a fantastic Chinese New Year today. We learned about Tangrams and made all these great pictures. Aidan and Alasdair managed to put their shapes back into a square.
We discussed New Year Resolutions and made up some of our own. Gavin found another use for his dragon puppet.
